2018 Leadership Academy

CCEA will host a one-day seminar before the State Conference in San Diego. The focus will be on the Education Code and operation of a Continuation High School. The seminar will precede the conference weekend, on Thursday, April 26th, hosted at the same site as the conference in San Diego. Read more about the workshop. The seminar will be presented by Joe Stits, former Assistant Superintendent of Bellflower Unified School District, past CCEA President and Presenter of the CCEA Principals Institute.

CCEA Region 4 Meet and Greet Holliday Inn, Sacramento

CCEA Conference 2017 - Imperial Avenue Holbrook SchoolCCEA Region 4 Meet and GreetJoin us for an evening of networking with our CCEA Executive Board in Sacramento on January 18th, 2018. Learn the benefits to your school personnel and students by becoming a member of CCEA. CCEA mission, vision and goals will be discussed as well as the Model Continuation Program partnership between CCEA and CDE. There will also be a Region 4 Model Continuation High School Principal roundtable.

CCEA also sponsors a student essay contest.

Model Continuation Recognition Program

California Department of EducationThe Model Continuation High School Recognition Program is sponsored by the California Department of Education (CDE), Educational Options Division, in cooperation with the California Continuation Education Association (CCEA). The Model Continuation Education Recognition Program identifies and recognizes outstanding programs and creates a resource bank of quality programs for school visitations. These schools provide exemplary programs to at risk youth through the use of innovative instructional strategies, flexible scheduling, and guidance and counseling services.
