Teacher of the Year Award

Administrator of the Year Award

Student Recognition Awards
Student Art Showcase — CCEA Plus celebrates student artwork from alternative education all across the state of California. We host a student art display each year in one of the main areas of the annual Conference. To include artwork in the showcase, Learn more | Sign up
Student Design Contest — each year, CCEA Plus hosts a student contest to design the cover artwork for the annual Conference program. Teachers, admin or school staff can submit student entries each year, with a deadline usually in late March. Every Conference event has a unique theme and specifications presented on the contest page. For example, the 2024 theme is “Reaching for the Stars, Putting a Spotlight on Alternate Education”. Student Essay Contest — each year, CCEA Plus hosts a student essay contest among alternative schools in the state of California. Each school may submit up to two essays, one from a Senior and one from a Junior. The top six essays will be recognized. The top three will receive awards and featured recognition at our annual CCEA Plus Conference. The deadline is usually in late March, and the annual contest page has guidance and requirements for student submissions. Learn more | Enter contest
Proclamation Award
Regional or state award given to recognize an individual or organization. Learn more
Life Membership Award
This state award is given to an individual who has worked on both the state and regional level to support CCEA Plus and continuation education. Learn more
Jerry Dean Medallion Award
