We’ll be adding new opportunities right here for members like you to get more involved with CCEA Plus. Open opportunities are below. Check back for more as they get posted. Each has its own eligibility requirements, but all require that you are an active CCEA Plus member in good standing.

Apply to volunteer, work in the Model School program, join the team or participate in new programs. Each region has representatives that serve the interest of their local schools and CCEA+ programs. If you’re interested in being more involved with CCEA Plus, we would love to have you share your talents. CCEA Plus is looking for volunteers in the space of Social Media, the upcoming conference, contributors to the newsletter and many other areas.
Become a CCEA Plus VolunteerInterest form to be a Model School Reader/Field Expert:
Apply to be a Reader or Field Expert for the Model School evaluation program. Choose the Model Continuation High School (MCHS) program and/or the Model Community Day School (MCDS) program. Participants are considered and selected by the organizing committee, and then notified to confirm attendance. If you are interested in participating, please use this form to let the committee know. Reading sessions are normally each fall, in September or October — for MCHS there is one session for Northern California schools, and another for Southern applicants. Field visits for school evaluation follow the Reader sessions, according to the Model School application schedule. The schedule is posted each year on the application page on the site. The sessions are run by CCEA+ in close coordination with CDE along with the MCHS & MCDS program’s guidance and established standards. Membership and good standing are required for consideration.

We also invite retired continuation teachers and administrators to contact us for special opportunities. Please mention your retirement from alternative education and any special experience you’d like to offer.
