We’ll be adding new opportunities right here for members like you to get more involved with CCEA Plus. Open opportunities are below. Check back for more as they get posted. Each has its own eligibility requirements, but all require that you are an active CCEA Plus member in good standing.
Open Opportunities with CCEA Plus
Apply to become a CCEA Plus Regional Advisor, or a Model School Reader/Field Expert. Each region has representatives that serve the interest of their local continuation schools and CCEA programs. Apply to become a Model Continuation High School Reader/Field Expert:
Participants are considered by the Model School program organizing committee. Reading sessions are normally each fall, in October — one session for Northern schools, and another for Southern applicants. The sessions are run by CCEA+ in close coordination with CDE along with the MCHS program’s guidance and established standards. Retired from Alternative Education? We want your help, too!
We also invite retired continuation teachers and administrators to contact us for special opportunities. Please mention your retirement from continuation education and any special experience you’d like to offer.
We count on our retired members to head committees and projects. Your experience is very valuable to CCEA Plus and our educators! Pass on your knowledge and wisdom to new teachers.
