Gala and Awards
CCEA hosts annual Awards celebrations each year. The 2020 Model Schools Gala will be Friday, May 1st at the San Diego Maritime Museum on-board the Berkeley, a famous ferry boat. Professional Awards will be honored Saturday, May 2nd, at an Awards Lunch at the Sheraton San Diego. We welcome members, educators, guests and families for this events.
Selection of new Model Schools is underway and will be announced in early 2020. Sponsored by the California Department of Education, the Model Continuation Education Recognition Program recognizes outstanding programs and creates a resource bank for school visitations. Active CCEA members are eligible to apply to be a part of the reading committee each year.
