The Voice of Alternative Education
The California Continuation Education Association Plus (CCEA Plus) was formed in 1962 to advocate for the interests of alternative education school students and staff. CCEA's member-driven organization now serves as the professional community and advocacy group for both continuation and community day schools.

Annual Conference
The 2024 Conference will be held in Los Angeles, California on the weekend of April 25 - 28. The venue will be the Marriott Los Angeles Burbank. Registration is currently open, and we are accepting applications for new presenters. Find photos from the 2023 Gala this past April up in our blog.
Gala and Awards
The 2024 Model Schools Gala dinner will be held Friday, April 27, 2024 in Los Angeles. Professional Awards will be presented on Saturday during the Conference weekend. We welcome members, educators, guests and families to celebrate our awardees. Nominations and tickets will be available soon.
Model Schools
Exciting news! Community day schools can now apply to be a Model School for the first time. Submit intent to apply by Oct. 13th, applications due Oct. 20th. Apply to be a Reader & field expert. Sponsored by the California Department of Education (CDE), the program recognizes outstanding schools.
