Model Schools Awards Gala: Saturday, April 27th (starts 6:30 PM) — Venue: Universal Studios Hollywood, Sound Stage 15. At the Gala dinner, newly-selected Model Schools from 2024 will be awarded and recognized. Attire is evening casual. Transportation is provided to and from the hotel venue at no extra charge. Please read the important details (links at top with updates) about the gala location, how to get there, and admission to the theme park. Early bird tickets and tables will discounted until 3/1/24. After that, Gala tickets are $199 per person. Payment and attendee info must be submitted by April 19th, and the Gala could sell out before that due to capacity [SOLD OUT]. Tickets will not be available for sale on site or after 4/19/24. Reserve tables by 4/19/24. Professional awards and exemplary programs will be presented the day before on April 26th (see below). Exemplary Programs and Professional Awards Lunch: Friday, April 26th (12:00 AM – 1:45 PM) — Venue: Los Angeles Marriott Burbank (Conference venue). Submit your nominee or program in advance of the Conference anytime until the March 2024 deadline. Awards include Exemplary Programs, Superintendent of the Year, Administrator of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Counselor or Support Person of the Year, and our Student Essay winners. Exemplary Programs will be featured; there will be no Roundtable Showcase. Professional awards and the exemplary programs showcase will be presented. Lunch with speaker, special guests, awards for personnel, essays, art, Region Basket, Vendor’s Raffle/Auction Prizes. Awards from the 2023-2024 school year will be featured. Ticket purchases are recommended by April 21st; after that date, tickets will be available online (until the space is full) or available by credit card on site for $115 per person.
