Calling all aspiring model schools!

From CDE:  A second webinar for prospective 2021–22 Model Continuation High School (MCHS) Recognition Program applicants is scheduled to be held on Friday, July 23, 2021, from 9–11 a.m. Any principal interested in applying may participate or whomever they appoint to attend in their place. The webinar will provide information regarding the application and the application process. It will point out items that have disqualified applicants in previous years and will address as many questions as possible submitted during the webinar.

CDE Summer Equity Summit

From CDE:  The California Department of Education (CDE) will host its second virtual equity summit this summer. Convening to re-imagine what schools and classrooms will look like as we re-engage students and families, the summer equity summit invites participants to take a student-centered and data driven approach to equity. Join us and share this information forward to your organization and colleagues.

By pre-registering, you will be added to an email list to be sent more information as it becomes available, and you will be registered for the event. A meeting invitation to register for the event’s breakout sessions will be sent to you before the event as well.
