CDE announces Model School recipients for MCHS and MCDS.

March

Call for presenters and nominations for students, professional and Exemplary Programs due March 15th.

April

Annual Conference showcasing numerous presentations, workshops, awards and recognitions – last weekend in April.

May

Intent to Submit applications for MCHS and MCDS due May 31st.

June

CCEA Plus Annual Summer Board Meeting. Summer workshops in 2026 or 2027.

July

MCHS and MCDS applications due July 16th. CDE screens applications.

August

CDE shares eligible Model School applications with CCEA Plus. Model School Reading recruitment begins.

September

Model School Reading sessions.

• 1st: Sept. 5th @ Sacramento (Region 4)
• 2nd: Sept. 19th @ Anaheim (Region 1 & 2)
• 3rd: Oct. 3rd @ Fresno (Region 3)

September to December
