Model Schools Awards Gala: Friday, April 28th (starts 6:30 PM)— Venue: USS Midway aircraft carrier, docked on the water. Three course meal! At the Gala dinner, newly-selected Model Schools from 2023 will be awarded and recognized. Attire is evening casual. Historic aircraft will be aboard. Transportation is provided to and from the hotel venue at no extra charge. Professional awards and exemplary programs will be presented the next day on April 29th (see below). Ticket purchases are recommended before April 26th; after that, tickets will only be available by credit card on site for $135 per person.

Exemplary Programs and Professional Awards Lunch: Saturday, April 29th (11:45 AM – 1:45 PM) — Venue: Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina (Conference venue). Submit your nominee or program in advance of the Conference anytime until the March 15, 2022 deadline. Awards include Exemplary Programs, Superintendent of the Year, Administrator of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Counselor or Support Person of the Year, and our Student Essay winners. Exemplary Programs will be featured; there will be no Roundtable Showcase. Professional awards and the exemplary programs showcase will be presented. Lunch with speaker, special guests, awards for personnel, essays, art, Region Basket, Vendor’s Raffle/Auction Prizes. Awards from 2023 (for the 2022-2023 school year) will be featured. Ticket purchases are recommended before April 26th; after that, tickets will only be available by credit card on site for $100 per person.
